Privacy Policy
Who we are
Clerq ("we", "us", "our") is an AI operations agency based in London, United Kingdom. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website and contact form.
What we collect
When you request a 20-minute intro call through our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name
- Your role (founder, COO, CFO, head of people, or other)
- Your company size band
- What you tell us about your business in the free-text field (typically the manual workflows you are losing time to)
We do not collect payment information, passwords, or any other sensitive personal data through the contact form.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide to:
- Reply to your enquiry and schedule a 20-minute intro call
- Prepare for that call (so we are not asking the same questions on it)
- If you become a client, manage the engagement
- Occasionally send a short, infrequent update on what Clerq is shipping, which you can opt out of at any time
We will not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Contact form submissions are processed by FormSubmit (a third-party form processing service) and delivered to our email. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Once received, enquiry data is held in our email and CRM tooling under standard access controls. We will update this section as our tooling evolves.
Your rights
Under the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Unsubscribe from all communications
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@aiclerq.com.
Cookies and analytics
We use a single web analytics tool to understand which pages of our site are read, so we can prioritise what to write next. We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or any third-party advertising cookies.
Analytics are off by default. When you first visit the site, a small banner asks you to accept or reject analytics cookies. No analytics cookies are set unless you click Accept. If you reject, no cookies are written. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for aiclerq.com and reloading the page.
When analytics are enabled, we record anonymised information about your visit, including: pages viewed, approximate location (country and region only, never your exact IP address), device type, browser, and how you arrived at the site. IP anonymisation is enabled. The specific processor we use, and where data is sent, is named in the third-party services list below.
Our contact form is hosted by FormSubmit, which uses a hidden honeypot field and a CAPTCHA challenge to filter spam. FormSubmit does not set tracking cookies.
Third-party services we rely on
- Vercel hosts the website. Vercel may log basic request data (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Google may receive a request from your browser when a font is loaded.
- Google Analytics 4 is the analytics processor referenced above. It records anonymised page-view data only when you accept analytics cookies. Google may process this data on servers outside the UK; their privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
- FormSubmit processes the contact form submission and delivers it to our email.
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not share contact form submissions with any other third party for marketing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Clerq develops. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We won't materially change how we use your data without giving you notice.
