Your starting point
These are starting points, not fixed courses. We agree a useful next step around your experience, your goals and the tools you can access. Read the practical starting guide.
Choose a suitable tool. Explain what you need. Refine a weak answer. Recognise when AI is guessing and what information to keep out.
What you practiseComplete one useful task and explain how you checked the result.
Bring your own context to writing, research and planning. Work with appropriate documents, improve drafts and save instructions that work for you.
What you practiseRepeat a useful task with new material, without starting from scratch.
Structure a task across several steps. Combine sources, explore data and create reusable instructions or assistants, with checks at the points that matter.
What you practiseTest your method on a different example and recognise when it needs your judgement.
What could you work on?
Use AI toTurn rough notes into a draft with a purpose, audience and next steps.
You still checkThat facts, responsibilities and dates match the source notes.
Use AI toOrganise supplier information against criteria you have chosen.
You still checkOriginal sources, missing terms and whether the comparison is fair.
Use AI toBuild a method for turning approved information into a consistent draft.
You still checkThe underlying figures, unsupported explanations and who reviews the output.
Use AI toTurn your dates, interests and practical needs into an itinerary to refine.
You still checkOpening times, travel details and costs with the original providers.
Use AI toBreak a topic into manageable lessons and practise with questions.
You still checkFacts against reliable sources and whether you can explain the idea yourself.
Use AI toOrganise notes, compare options and maintain a reusable plan for a hobby or event.
You still checkThe constraints, changing information and actions that need your approval.
Illustrative learning tasks. We choose the focus together and use material you are allowed to share.
Two worked examples
In a session, you use the tool. We help you see what works, what is missing and how to improve it. Learn how to adapt a useful prompt.
01 / Everyday life
Fictional planning notes and an illustrative comparison. No trip is booked.
You are free on Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. The museum opens from 10 am to 5 pm. A guided tour starts at 10 am only. The garden opens from noon to 5 pm and is suitable only in dry weather.
Ask AI to compare the options against your available time and identify missing information. An illustrative draft suggests “Start with the 10 am tour.” Challenge it: which constraint has it ignored?
Compare every suggested time with your notes. Check that weather, travel times and availability have not been invented. For a real outing, check current details with the providers before deciding.
“Museum: suitable on the supplied information. Morning tour: outside your available time. Garden: weather-dependent alternative. Still to check: journey time, tickets and access.”
“Using only the notes below, compare each option against my available time and constraints. Mark any option that does not fit. Keep weather-dependent choices conditional. List missing information to check; do not invent travel times, prices or availability, and do not book anything. Notes: [paste your permitted notes].”
Try it again. Change the available time, repeat the comparison and explain which conclusions change.
02 / At work
Fictional work notes and an illustrative email draft. No email is sent.
The sample pack arrived Monday. The blue fabric and zip sample were missing. The supplier offered to check availability. You need a reply by Thursday to finalise the prototype.
Ask for a courteous email using only the notes. An illustrative draft says “Thanks for confirming delivery by Thursday.” Remove that invented promise and make the requested next action clear.
Both missing items appear. Thursday is a requested reply date, not an agreed delivery date. No commitment has been invented. A person reviews the draft before sending.
“Thanks for sending the sample pack. The blue fabric and zip sample were missing. Could you confirm their availability by Thursday so we can finalise the prototype? Please let us know if that timing is not possible.”
“Using only the notes below, draft a short, courteous supplier follow-up. Name the missing items and the reply we need. Do not invent commitments or turn a requested reply date into an agreed delivery date. List any missing information separately. Leave the email as a draft; do not send it. Notes: [paste your permitted notes].”
Try it again. Use fresh fictional notes, then save the instruction and a short checking routine you can repeat.
These fictional demonstrations show a learning method, not customer outcomes or records of completed AI runs. We agree your own task and use material you are allowed to share.

No. Start with the basics or bring a task you already find challenging. You do not need to know how to code. We check your starting point before agreeing the plan.
Choose a focused session for one task or to try the teaching. Build confidence gives you three sessions to practise and improve across two agreed tasks. Go further gives you six sessions for a broader project or more sustained practice. Your experience level helps shape the content of any option.
Yes. We can work on either or combine them. For work, use tools and information your employer permits. We can use fictional examples when real information is sensitive. Read the work-data safety guide.
Yes. Your £149 focused session can count as the first session of Build confidence or Go further. Agree the programme before booking session two. The remaining price is £250 for Build confidence or £600 for Go further.
Each session lasts 60 minutes. You use your own computer while we work through the task together. We agree the goals, suitable tools and dates in advance. You receive brief notes and the prompts or templates created in the session.
You receive a practice task and bring your attempts to the next session for feedback. The programme price covers the agreed live sessions, preparation and brief notes. Additional work or ongoing support is separately agreed.
We check what you can already access. Any software subscription needed for your learning goal is discussed before booking and is paid separately.
Training develops your own ability to use AI. A business system that connects tools, runs unattended or needs ongoing maintenance is a separately scoped implementation service.

Sometimes AI is not worth it yet. If the process is unclear, automating it makes it faster and worse, and we will tell you so. Try the readiness check.
