Keep the agreement
and the next action together.

A simple contract register for finance and operations teams. One blank table, one fictional example and instructions for keeping source evidence visible.

No email required. No macros, external connections or automatic legal-date calculations.

A record you can check.

  1. Use the Blank register tab for your own records. Keep the fictional example separate.
  2. Record the supplier, service, document reference and business owner.
  3. Have an authorised reviewer check the signed agreement and any amendments. Enter the verified dates manually.
  4. Leave uncertain dates blank. Record “Needs review”, what is unclear and who will resolve it.
  5. Assign the next action and review the register as part of your existing operating routine.

The workbook does not send reminders or interpret notice clauses. A populated date is not proof that it has been checked. Record who verified it, when and against which source.

Know which date you are looking at.

Notice deadline

The date by which a required notice must be given under the agreement. Verify the wording, method and recipient; do not infer it from the renewal date alone.

Renewal date

The date a further term may begin. Waiting until this date to start the review may leave too little time to act.

These are operating prompts, not legal advice. Ambiguous or consequential interpretation needs appropriately qualified review.
